Dow Building Services has been the Custodial Contractor for Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Mountain Home since April of 1999. Baxter is a medical manufacturing facility, and our requirements are FDA regulated. We have approximately 550,000 square feet of the building, of which 250,000 square feet is production space that is classified as “clean room”. The rest of our space is office and warehouse. That in itself should tell you something.
DOW initially won the janitorial bid over six other companies. We felt at the time that DOW would be more responsive to our needs because they are an Arkansas company, with local, on-site management and a corporate office in North Little Rock.
DOW has approximately 50 employees that take care of our building on a 24/7 schedule. They do an excellent job of keeping our facility clean and they handle any extra activities that might occur on a daily basis. Bill Porterfield has put together a good team at our site. They’re a good company, with good people, and we are very happy working with them.
Also, Dow Worsham has personally made several commitments to us over the years, has followed through on each one, and he still makes regular visits to oversee our in-house operations. Dow Building Services has proven our initial intuition correct.
— Jason Barnes, Facilities Manager, Baxter Healthcare
Dow Building Services has been providing our janitorial services since 2011. Their crew has always been professional and courteous. The cleanliness of our facility has been consistently maintained at a high level.
DOW has provided extra services above and beyond those contracted with very short notice to ensure our facility is seen in the best light by visiting customers. Those visitors often comment on the cleanliness of our premises.
— Andrew Melton, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Snap-On Equipment
Dow Building Services has been providing janitorial services to First Step, Inc. for 19 years and has performed an admirable job. We provide educational and treatment services to children in buildings totaling over 100,000 square feet. It is essential that a facility like ours maintain clean and appealing facilities that provide a healthy environment. The professional staff has been responsive to our special needs and challenges.
We are happy to recommend Dow Building Services to your organization. Their cooperation and willingness to work to achieve our mutual goals makes them exceptional.
— Brett Chancellor, Executive Director, First Step
I was first a customer of Dow Building Services nearly 15 years ago. I was the director of a radiation therapy center and the majority of our patients were immunosuppressed. We treated a variety of patients from the very young to those "more mature". It was extremely important that the facility not only "look" clean but actually be clean.
When our facility was purchased by another hospital, we were required to change vendors. I was disappointed and unhappy, not just with the service of the other vendor, but with the lack of coordination and care given by the management group. Dow Building Services did much more than just empty trash and sweep and mop floors. They became our partner in providing a safe and sanitary environment for our patients.
When I moved to a different facility, I made sure to get Dow Building Services back on my team. I am once again happy and confident in the service and overall condition of my facility. Thank you for helping us care for our patients!!
— Debra Tomlinson, Facility Director, Renaissance Health and Wellness
I have contracted DOW for about a year and a half for custodial services. I am excited to have finally found a company that is able to provide outstanding service for us. ATC Scientific is an analytical laboratory with about 8,000 sqft of high-soil narrow walkways and is difficult to keep clean on the best of days.
Beyond the quality of their product, DOW's management and staff have been friendly, accommodating, and generally excellent to work with. We'll be customers for a long time.
